REVIEW

Watching this movie yesterday was like an accident. We weren't actually supposed to watch the movie but then, we decided to because we really wanted to.

My family has been a fan of Marvel and DC Comics made into movies so of course, we wouldn't let Batman pass our movie collections.

First of all, I was quite amazed at how the production has dared to change the title from plain "Batman" to a very catchy one which is "The Dark Knight". Sometimes, changing titles can greatly affect the viewers' decision in watching the movie, but Batman didn't fail. For he didn't only get the attention of the whole Gotham City, but the whole world as well.

Starring in this movie also was one of my most favorite actors, Gary Oldman who of course we all know to have played Remus Lupin's Character in the Harry Potter series.

Of course, the one who made this movie really effective aside from Christian Bale is the villain. The Joker played by the late Heath Ledger. From a very hot icon, they managed to change him into a maniacal ugly villain. It was really awesome because if we do not not know who Heath Ledger is, we would really think that the face behind The Joker was an old weary one.

I've also heard that Heath died even before the filming of the movie has finished. That was probably why he immediately disappeared toward the end of the movie and was replaced by a brief appearance of another favorite Batman villain, Two Face. Or maybe Two Face's appearance is just a preparation for the next Batman movie which I will also definitely watch.

So far, this was the only Batman movie which I really appreciated. Aside from the very great actors including Michael Kaine and Morgan Freeman, they were also able to make a very good storyline despite the tragedy that happened with one of the main casts.

Truly, I believe, that this last film of Heath Ledger will remarkably be a legend and yeah, I know he didn't regret accepting the role of The Joker as the final character of his life.

And oh yeah..Christian Bale is damn too hot! =p
