AceTeryahe Family Christmas Party 2011 @ Linmarr Apartelle | December 16, 2011

Trolling with my Secret Santa present. The one whom I was able to pick didn’t have a single idea I was his Secret Santa. I even let him choose the wrapper and the card design. lol!

And as you can notice, the paper-bag is a bit girly. Much more to actually kill his suspicion. lol! :))

A Night Full of Good Mornings

So everything revolved around the Good Morning towel that one of us proposed. The night turned out to be a really indescribable one. Food and drinks were everywhere, and fun and laughters were overfowing.

Our AceTeryahe Family Christmas party at Linmarr Apartelle was such a blast, we hoped we could spend one more night there together. :)

So, many people say that this “Push Button to Cross” is really not working. They say it’s just a dummy, a placebo. It doesn’t really automatically shizz the traffic light to let you cross. You still have to wait for the traffic to stop.

But I have this habit of pushing that button whenever I try to cross the street because even though in my head, I know it doesn’t work, I also know that it won’t kill you to push it.

But one friend of mine told me that the cross button really does work. He said that one time, while he was waiting for his turn to cross, the traffic aide told him to push the button so he could cross. My other friend however negated his statement and said that that button is really just a placebo, to make you believe it would let you cross.

So, to prove matters to myself, I tried to make an experiment. That photo taken above is in front of the Ateneo de Davao University. The pedestrian there has a good amount of length that you really had to wait for the motor vehicles to stop before you can dare cross safely.

So I stood there without pushing the button, watching the cars in front of me zoom by. The traffic light signaled for the opposite lane to stop, but the red hand signal for pedestrians was still up. I still waited. When the traffic light turned green, the red hand signal was still flashing.

Then I pushed the button and waited. When the traffic light turned red, I was amazed when the red hand signal switched the the yellow “walk” sign. I was able to cross the street. :)

So, after that simple experiment, I therefore conclude, that the button really does work. People just perceived that it was supposed to automatically signal to walk when one pushes it. But it doesn’t really work that way. That button works as a sensor whenever someone wants to cross the street. When the red light lights up, the sensor will signal that whoever wants to cross can now cross safely.

When you make a mistake, tell the other doctors that you made a mistake. End of story. Because if you don’t accept that you made a mistake, the story will never end.

Every mobile network provider is really annoying..

Whether it be Globe, Smart, or Sun, they really have flaws in their service. Whether you’re on prepaid or postpaid, they will find a way to grab you off your money whenever you load your SIM or pay your bills.

But even though we hate how these network providers rob us off legally, we don’t have a choice but to continue using their service simply because nowadays, mobile communication is already considered a necessity.

I’ve been a victim of those three network providers. I have a Globe and Smart prepaid account, and a postpaid account on Sun. Each of those networks give me the migraine whenever I load my prepaid account or receive my postpaid bill.

There’s been an issue about this before, when Senator Enrile was robbed off his remaining credits. He even passed a law about it, but I guess that was put under the grave because nothing happened. There were still unnecessary unbilled charges, and load-eating ones.

What can we really do about it? Nothing. Unless every subscriber in the Philippines would protest and stop texting or calling even for a day.

But I guess that would be impossible. :p

Perhaps I just needed to let this out.

I totally understand Rhian Ramos’ decision to get rid of her and Mo Twister’s baby. In turn of events when you have to decide between your career and whatever it is that will impede it, your thoughts will go blurry, and your decisions hazy. Maybe it’s because of fact that you will be subjected to judgments that would ruin you not only for whatever you have, but as a person.

I guess the only thing to do is to just accept that one day, whatever you do will get back to you, maybe twice or three times more. But you shouldn’t blame it. You did it, so you suffer whatever consequence it brings you.

BUT, Doing the same thing for the second time around is definitely unforgivable. The first round should have already pushed her conscience to the rocks, and maybe try to prevent it from happening again. If the rumours of her getting rid of her second baby without telling Mo, then that is really sick. Taking a life once because of confusion may not be condemned much, but doing it again for the same circumstance is unacceptable.
