Spiderman 3

Oh jeez! Why did I ever rated it 2? Because it deserved such ratings!

Spiderman 3 was so much wasn't what I expected it to be! Hitting the blockbuster in the screens on it's premiere, I really thought that it was somehow worth watching!

But then I was glad that I did not watch it as it premiered. Glad that I didn't squeeze myself in the movie houses where people do stand just to be able to watch! Because if I did, I would be too much damn hating myself until now! =P

Ok, why do you think I hate the movie? Well, I don't actually hate it, I was just frustrated by it!

First, being the 3rd installment, I actually expected it to be super great especially that Harry will be seeking revenge for his father.

And what the heck? Why did those sandman and the little creepy black thing from outerspace appeared? Unlike the first two installments, they only focused on one enemy! And those enemies were really challenging, from Green Goblin to this annoying Dr. Octivius/Octopus.

But this time? God, what was with that stupid sandman? I thought he was annihilated or something but after a couple of hours perhaps, he became MR. SANDMAN!! -applause!-

Ok enough with that. So, Peter was like very sorry to Harry and he wanted to explain things and stuff, but Harry didn't listen and the next thing we know, Harry was already attacking him with that glider like his fathers; Peter managed to bring him down, losing his memoryand in a snap of a finger, gained back his memory!! Awww, in those three hours that we've watched it, everything happened so fast!

So this gruesome VENOM thing as they called it, made Peter Parker a bad man. He kills, humiliates and embarrasses people! Why did he become like that? Because his stupid best friend asked his pathetic actres wannabe girlfriend to break up with him!

Breaking his heart should be a big NO-NO in your "How to Kill Spiderman" list! Because he would kill you instead! LOL!!

Ok so what else? Oh yeah, I really hate the way they make good pathetic people into bad guys!!

1. Harry Osborn - we know he loved Peter so much as his best friend but after finding out that he was Spiderman, believing that he killed his father, he changed into this very bad person who wanted to avenge his father's death. No matter how his best friend explains that he didn't kill his father, he wouldn't listen and he was still on his mind to want to kill Spiderman.

2. Random robber/thief who was known to have killed Ben Parker and has a daughter who was sick - he steals and robs because of his daughter. He wasn't originally a bad man knowing that he does the crime just to save his daughter's life. But just because of a freaking accident, he turned out to be this random SANDMAN!

3. -insert name here- Brocks - the new photographer who was trying to steal Peter's position as a photographer in the Daily Bugle. Ok, so he was kind of a jackass, but he wasn't really that bad! After the VENOM-SPIDEY humiliated him, he somehow wished that Spiderman would get killed and oh, his wish was granted in an instant as the creepy venom transferred into him, making him a monster!!

So that would make it three s to one!! But who do you think has won? Of course, it's our friendly neigborhood SPIDERMAN! As expected, yeah!

Ok now let's go to the characters!

1. Peter Parker - he has a very cute, funny and consistent character in the three installments, I have nothing to say against him! Toby Maguire was the greatest!

2. Mary Jane Watson - ok, pretty consistent character, too! But I just realized that she was always frustrated with her acting career yet she doesn't know that her real life was an acting itself. Seems like she was her own actress in her real life! Always being the subject of hurt and of course, full-time action! How come she doesn't get traumatized after almost falling about 100-feet in three movies? LOL! And her singing voice! Man! I really can't understand how a 2007-bred woman could have a 1930's kind of voice! No wonder she was fired from her job! =P

Ok well let's go to the ending now! Hahaha!! A Spiderman movie could actually have that super cheesy ending? Oh-Em-Gee big time!

I have nothing against that venom ending because it was indeed so cool! But the sandman ending! Hahaha! It made me cry!! It made me cry because of its cheesiness! LOL! It was so crazy! Flying away like that! Reminded me of the mummy!

And as expected, Harry died! Yes, I know he would die when he decided to go and help Peter fight back his enemies! Because of course, when a person becomes good, he dies! Haha! Sandman was lucky though! =P

-sighs- why did I even bother typing this long for a very frustrating movie like that? So now you understand why I gave it a 2? I wasn't frustrated because of the cinematography, I was just frustrated because of the way they wrapped everything up in one movie as if there won't be another one next anymore. Or will there be? =P

Free Hacking, Anyone? =P

So what does hack mean? Hack as a verb mean, to break. In computers, it means modifying an computer program, a site or an account usuall skillfully.

Hacking is considered as one of the heinous crimes that destroy or invade private property especially on online sites. Hacking can cause a lot of trouble. I can destroy a person's dignity, personality and literally, own computer hardware hence defining it as to break.

I am a moderator on a Summit Media Forum called Total Girls Philippines. I bet most of you have heard about this kiddie/teen magazine which came from the same company that distributed Candy Mag and W.I.T.C.H Mag.

Anyway, that site has been mostly composed of girls aged 12 and up. The most common age group in that site is fourteen years old.

So the site has been peacefully running with some pasaway kids being moderated and stuff when suddenly, one member acted rather strange. She started bashing against moderators and also started sending rude and offensive messages to random members. This has put the whole forum in worry because that member wasn't that kind of person as we think of it.

And later on, we found out that she has been hacked. At first, we were worried about it but as the hacking continues, a lot of mysterious stuff started to happen involving that hacked member, her boyfriend, her boyfriend's best friend and her boyfrioend's best friend's girlfriend who also happened to be a member of TG.

We started having doubts about those two members and the hacker thinking that they are somehow prettily related to each other and all of them are involved with the hacking.

Things became crazy when another 4 accounts were hacked including one moderators's account. Worse, the hacker leaves viruses on the account owner's computers.

We were slightly alarmed by this issue because the offensive messages sent by the hacker were all with bad words and adult content therefore, putting the innocent kids' minds in a dirty situation. Remember, kids in TG were minors. And the messages sent to them were of adult content. So indeed it was very disturbing.

The issue hasn't been resolved yet as the administrator still hasn't taken any action for the issue yet. But if worse comes to worse, there's a huge possibility that the site will either shut down or restart.

I just have one question if indeed that hacker exists. Why was he doing it and what were his intentions? This hacking has put kids' minds in terrible worry and of course, it'll cost those hacked accounts a lot of money to have their computers fixed for viruses.

ANG DAKILANG PINOY!! =P

You're probably wondering why I used that title, right? Well you'll find out soon!!

I'm proud to be a Filipino, but sometimes, I couldn't contain myself from being ashamed with my own race. I wasn't much used to insulting the Filipinos. I just don't understand why my kababayan cannot quite understand simple signs and instructions.

Me and my friend were in downtown just a few hours ago and since our city (Davao) has just acquired the 'traffic lights', we were already practicing to be good citizens by abiding the simple traffic rules and regulations. Of course, the red light means stop, yellow means ready and green is go.

But vehicles were not the only ones which needs those signs. People who walk also need signs especially when they cross the street. When the green light is on for the vehicles, the pedestrian intersection will flash the red hand which means 'stop' for those who are planning to cross the street.

So me and my friend stopped under the heat of the sun and waited for the 'walk' sign. But I was surprised when we saw at least three people look left and right and when they were sure that the coast is clear, crossed the street, ignoring the 'red hand' signal. When I saw it, i wasn't able to control myself and i just merely shouted, "Pinoy! Wow! Pilipinong pilipino!" One of those who crossed the street looked back at me and I just smiled at her as me and my friend laughed. Then I added, "Dakilang Pinoy", hence the title of this blog! Oh well, in my mind that time, if these three people would get hit by a car, I would really hurl if they would cry and demand payment for their physical injury or worse, would file a case against the one who hit them. When in fact, if you look back at the situation, it was their fault that they crossed the street even though the signal was still on the 'red hand'.

One girl arrived and probably she heard what I said that she also stopped and waited for the 'walk signal'. So we waited since it was on the main street, we have to wait for at least 2-3 minutes. It was so hot that time but we ignored it, thinking that it was better than breaking a simple rule.

So the 'walk signal' was flashed and we crossed the street, my friend commenting about the girl. "I guess she already wanted to cross the street but she heard what you said and stopped, too!" LMAO! I really laughed hard when he said that. Well I was thinking that you don't need other people to tell you that you were doing the wrong thing. I mean, there's a clear sign that they shouldn't cross the street but they still did. If that's still the case, then I think putting up those signs aren't necessary anymore; they would only add up to the electric bill payed for by the government.

Anyway, while me and my friend were crossing the pedestrian, a car just passed by without even bothering to stop or even just slow down to let us cross. And to think, that was the pedestrian lane and we were supposed to cross the pedestrian so it was their responsibility to stop or slow down. I just merely said, "Whoa! Nasa pedestrian tayo!"

Just like what the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos said, "Para sa kaunlaran, disiplina ang kailangan" means, for our progress we need discipline. Not discipline in our country but discipline amongst ourselves. Because social discipline can grow out of personal discipline. If you couldn't follow simple traffic rules like that, then how can you follow national laws? If you are still going to ignore the flash of the traffic lights, then what's the use of the government's efforts to provide us with such things?

Oo nga naman, mga Pilipino tayo at nahihiya man akong sabihin ito, pero nakikita ko talagang sobrang tigas ng ulo ng mga Dakilang Pinoy! =]

Goong S - Se7en & Heo Yi Jae

Se7en - Kang Hoo/Lee Hoo

Heo Yi Jae - Yang Soon Yi

Kang Doo - Lee Joon

Park Shin Hye - Shin Sae Ryung

Myung Se Bin - the Queen

The current Empress of Korea was unmarried and recently, she has
been worried about a successor. Then they found out that the son
of the former King, the Queen's uncle has been living among the
commoners since he was born.

Kang Hoo grew up as a restaurant delivery guy under the care of Jo
Sang Ki. He has been living well for 20 years and has become Ilcheon's
most famous delivery guy. But one day, his life went at risk when a
group of people tried to kidnap him, thanks to Jo Sang Ki, he was able
to escape from them.

But then afterwards, he found out that his father, who died before he
was born was the former King of Korea and that the current reigning
Queen was his second cousin. And so as swift as things may be, in just
one night, he became a Gong-ja (Young Prince) and was now called Lee Hoo.

Meanwhile, the group of people who tried to kidnap him were working
under the Hyo Jang Dae Gong who happened to also be the Queen and
Hoo's uncle. Hyo Jang Dae Gong had always wanted to claim the throne of the Pye-ha (reigning Queen/King) and since he failed when the current Queen was installed this time, he was trying to let his son, Lee Joon be the Crown Prince. But he was threatened when he found out that Hoo has been found and since he was in the direct bloodline of the former king (of course because he's his son), he was possible to be the Crown Prince.

And so, Hyo Jang Dae Gong and his wife, has engaged Joon to the Deputy Prime Minister's daughter, Shin Sae Ryung. Pretty and intelligent, Sae Ryung has all the qualities to be the Queen but to do that, she has to marry the crown prince. This marriage would be of advantage for both of them. With the help of the Deputy Prime Minister, it'll be easy for Joon to be the crown prince and when Joon becomes the crown prince, Sae Ryung's dream to be the country's mother would come true.

Meanwhile, as he tried to adjust inside the Palace, Hoo met his grade school classmate, Yang Soon Yi who was working there as a Palace Maid. As impossible as it maybe, Lee Joon also happened to meet her and he became interested with her.

Things inside the Palace became very hard for Hoo when he started to feel something for Soon Yi while Joon has already confessed his love for her. Sae Ryung on the other hand was so jealous with Soon Yi since Joon ditched her because of him. But soon, Sae Ryung fell in love with Hoo.

Hoo also became more curious about his mother's exile from the Palace causing him to live as a commoner. He found out that Joon's dad was responsible for his mother's scandal and the Mother Queen was the one who made the decision of the exile.

Despite the circumstances and despite Joon's dad's dangerous tactics to put both Hoo and the Queen down, Hoo was still determined to become the Crown Prince so that he would be able to investigate further about his mother's exile. But being this way made him float away from Soon Yi and because he couldn't control his feelings anymore, he told Soon Yi how much he loves her.

Hoo and Soon Yi started going out but Joon and Sae Ryung were still determined to break them apart. Joon accepted his father's cheating methods so that he would win the competition for the Crown Prince position at the same time, he could win over Soon Yi. Sae Ryung on the other hand still encouraged her father to engage her with Hoo.

The Mother Queen knew about Soon Yi and Hoo's relationship and so, she persuaded the Prime Minister (the former PM has resigned due to illness so Sae Ryung's dad became the new PM) to engage Hoo with his daughter. But Hoo declined. Because of this, the Mother Queen had no choice but to let Soon Yi go abroad. Sacrifice...that's the true meaning of virtue. You give up your personal emotions and all your feelings to serve the people of your country. Because of this sacrifice, the Queen's own love has been rejected and Soon Yi left Hoo to study abroad.

Joon on the other hand has confessed to the Queen that he only won the competitions because he has cheated. And because of this, Hoo became the Crown Prince but he wasn't engaged with Sae Ryung because she declined the engagement and went to New York to see her mom.

Three years passed. But in these three years, has Hoo already forgotten about Soon Yi? And will Soon Yi continue to run away from him especially now that he was already the Crown Prince or will Crown Prince Hoo give up his throne so he could live happily with Soon Yi with the life he had back then?

This series has been inspired by the Goong series aired last year which starred Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye which was based on a manga. Just like Goong, this tells the story about having a monarchy in modern Korea.

But this has different twists as this story focused more on the political aspect and how much one should give up just to appear worthy in front of the people of Korea.

This series mainly focused on sacrifices. Sacrifices for your own happiness as well as sacrifices for the happiness of those who are around you. This would also show the injusttice of politics especially when it comes to position. Politicians may tend to rely on one another in able for them to keep their positions in their grasps.

As for the actors, it was Se7en's first time in acting but I'd say he was already good! Heo Yi Jae also portrayed her role well since she looked like a sweet and innocent young girl. Park Shin Hye has a change in attitude in this series. I've seen her in two dramas, always crying but this time, she has become a strong personality with a touch of greed and stubborness. What amazed me more was Kang Doo's character. He was the type who willdo everything to get what he wants, but in a fair way. Kang Doo's strong look fit his character very well for Joon was this kind of person who will never give up just to get what he desires. =]

Dal Ja's Spring - Lee Min Ki & Chae Rim

Lee Min Ki - Kang Tae Bong

Chae Rim - Oh Dal Ja

Lee Hyun Woo - Eom Ki Joong

Lee Hye Young - Wee Seon Joo

Go Hyun Jin - Shin Sae Do

Oh Dal Ja was 33 and has a stable job on a home shopping company.
She's got her own car, her own rented apartment and she has been
living her life in bliss but then, she was missing something. In 33 years,
Dal Ja has never experienced being in love or having a boyfriend.

Until the Production Director, Shin Sae Do started showing his interest
on her right then, she was able to fall in love. But Sae Do turned out
to be a jerk and dumped her for Wee Seon Joo, the homeshopping
program host.

Everything seemed too hard for Dal Ja until she met a young and
carefree man named Kang Tae Bong. They agreed to be acting as
fake lovers to grab revenge for Sae Do but it turned out that Dal Ja
ended up being friends with both Sae Do and Seon Joo.

Then, the marketing representative Uhm Ki Joong came. She felt he
was her destiny not knowing that he would cause trouble for her in
the future when his ex-wife showed up and wreaked havoc in the
office. So Dal Ja had no choice but to stop her ongoing relationship
with Ki Joong.

Meanwhile, as their deal ended in a month, Kang Tae Bong has finally
confessed to Dal Ja that he likes her and soon, he started living with
her. It took a while for Dal Ja to fall in love with Tae Bong but when
the time came, both Tae bong and Dal Ja's mothers opposed to their
relationship.

But then, things went on smoothly as both families began to accept
each other and so, the happy couple were soon bound to jump into
marriage but were shattered once again when Tae Bong went back
to the law firm her worked on before and his ex-girlfriend showed up.

Will this trouble be resolved again by our amazing Dal Ja or will she
be tired of hoping for a beautiful ending between her and Tae Bong?

This series would tell about a story of hoping and believing. In Dal Ja's 33 years of life, sometimes she thought about giving up especially in lovelife. But then, certain people will come to our lives and will make us think twice about giving up that hope.

Things would go well in one minute and could be a disaster in the next minute but instead of falling down with failure, we should accept the wrong that we did and try our best to stand up on our own feet again and we should always show others that we are strong no matter what problems we may encounter. =]

Ghost House - Cha Seung Won & Jang Seo Hee

Cha Seung Won - Park Pil Gi

Jang Seo Hee - Lee Yon Hwa

Pil Gi has finally fulfilled his father death wish of owning a house. He bought a very lovely house at a very cheap price. The house was everything. Huge, beautiful and it has a nice sea view.

However, there was a catch, Pil Gi started to feel something strange about the house and soon he found out that the house was haunted and the ghost wanted him to leave.

But due to an accident, Pil Gi suddenly woke up one day, having an extraordinary gift. He was able to see and talk to the ghost who resides in his house.

LEe Yon Hwa has been staying in her house for 2 years, waiting for her husband to come and so, after the days that they've spent together, Pil Gi began to understand her more and soon was able to help her find her husband.

This is a very hilarious movie. Aside from having a phobia with chickens, the crazy ghost tricks done by Yon Hwa here were really crazy.

Instead of getting scared, you will be touched by this movie because it'll show how love lingers on even in the after-life. Indeed, it is the truth that some people, even after their death were not able to rest in peace because there are some unsolved matters left on earth. And if they were lucky enough, humans can even help them even if their worlds are totally different. =]

The Legend of Seven Cutter - Ahn Jae Mo & Yoon Eun Hye

Ahn Jae Mo - Jung Han Soo

Yoon Eun Hye - Han Min Joo

Jung Han Soo was a bully feared by everyone. He has a notion of cutting his enemies, 7-centimeters in length with a cutter. And now, he has transferred to a new school.

But the Han Soo who transferred was not the one they all feared, but someone who's got the same name as the untimely legend. And so, Han Soo did his best to prove that he wasn't the guy they expected him to be.

With the involvement of the biggest bullies in school led byBaek Sung Gi and a tomboy chick Han Min Joo who eventually fell for him in the end, Han Soo tried his best to clear his name up.

This could be one of those considered as mistaken identity movies, but being mistaken as a ellish bully could sometimes have its own ups and downs. But then, one should always be able to understand what one tries to explain so that misunderstandings wouldn't arise and further cause trouble. =]

My Girl and I - Cha Tae Hyun & Song Hye Gyo

Cha Tae Hyun - Kim Su Ho

Song Hye Kyo - Bae Su Eun

If anyone who reads this has seen the movie based on Nicholas Sparks' A Walk to Remember, then this story won't be new.

This is a story about two high school classmates who eventually fell in love with each other. Su Eun, the prettiest in their school has suddenly turned her head to Su Ho, the not so ordinary guy.

Su Ho then, suddenly liked her since he cannot resist her charm. But Su Ho didn't know that Su Eun was already fighting aginst Leukemia at that time and soon, he realized that the girl he loved the most was already dying.

Some may say that this story was very predictable and so common, but for me who loves sad endings, it's still as new to me as seeing a very original movie.

Describing this movie, I could say that it's just the same as every leukemia movie I've seen but the plot has been different and the way the story was shown, it was really worth watching. =]

Dasaepo Naughty Girls - Park Jin Woo & Kim Ok Bin

Park Jin Woo - Anthony

Kim Ok Bin - Poor Girl

Eun Song - Double Eyes

Kim Byeol

Lee Kyeon

Lee Min Hyeok

Lee Young Joo

Nam Oh Jeong

Park Hye Won

Yoo Geon

Yoo Joo Hee

On the first part of the movie, people who watch it might get disappointed thinking that it was just another perverted crazy comedy. But as the movie progressed, you will realize that indeed, the story isn't only superficial but it has a deeper meaning.

The story is set on "No-Use High School" where the student body comprises of sexually ambiguous teenagers. But as what a typical high school should be, there were some students who cannot actually fit in to their environment.

There's this girl who carried poverty on her back. She was forced to sleep with older men in order to make money to pay for her family's debts.

Then Anthony, some handsome rich guy who transferred from Switzerland and the one-eyed guy termed "Cyclops" who retains a virgin even after all the criticisms he got.

"Poor Girl" has fallen for Anthony the first time she saw him but Anthony thought that they were very much different. Poor girl leaves on a cramped squatter's area while Anthony's parents were both diplomats.

Anthony however has fallen head over heels with Cyclops's pretty little sister but then he found out that she's transsexual.

Poor Girl struggles hard to earn money to help her family until she bumped into this rich cross-dresser who asked her to be with him whenever she needs help. And so by accident, Poor Girl was exposed dancing crazily on the internet and for a short period of time, she became popular.

However, certain problems occurred in school as girls suddenly became serious with their studies. Later on, they found out that some hideous monster who wanted to turn teens into nerdy virgins was behind this.

There were a lot of twists and turns as this movie is watched but in the end, life has its own miracles. During their graduation, "Poverty" who stays clinging on Poor Girl's back finally decided to leave her, transferring onto Anthony whose parents went bankrupt.

Indeed, life sometimes could be a soap opera.

As I've said, you may think this was just one random crazy comedy created by weird Koreans but as you think deeper, this movie shows life's realities, just in a hilarious way.

It has shown how a person can do anything just to strive off from poverty, it has shown how a person adopts to a place where he was supposed to grow up.

This movie also has shown the expectations of a society towards teenagers. Teenagers should remain pure until they are married but nowadays, we can only barely see teens like them. Just like in the movie, among the whole class, only one has remained a virgin and that only virgin was left to be discriminated and laughed at.

But then, people, even teens have their own right. Own right to do what they want and be responsible of their actions. Indeed, this movie shows the independence and courage of teenagers to stand in their own feet.

This also shows the discrepancy of trans gender. People might think that transsexual individuals are bad luck or not fit to be in the society but these people also have their own reasons in life that's why they decided to be different.

All we need in this world is understanding. No matter how different, weird and difficult life may be, if we understand each other's actions and thoughts, then we could live in a better place. =]

Innocent Steps - Park Gun Hyung & Moon Geun Young

Park Gun Hyung - Lee Young Sae

Moon Geun Young - Jang Chae Rin

They say dancing is everything. When a person knows how to dance, then that person has everything.

This movie is about the Best Dancesport Instructor in Korea, Lee Young Sae, who lost hope in dancing when his leg was badly injured by his rival during their championship.

Two years after, his friend forced him to dance again and brought him a girl from China who was also good in dancing. But then, it turned out that it wasn't the girl instead, her sister, Jang Chae Rin went there in her place. Worse, Chae Rin didn't know a single step in dancing.

So Young Sae went back to basics in teaching Chae Rin, telling her to love him while they were dancing, to put all her trust and feelings in him and to feel the rhythm of his body. Little did they know, as Chae Rin learns to dance, they were already dancing their way through each other's hearts.

But problems occured when Young Sae's friends who asked him to get back into dancing betrayed him and sold Chae Rin to his rival. In the end, Chae Rin had no choice but to be the rival's dance partner. But even though Chae Rin has changed her dance partner, she still didn't change her feelings toward the man who patiently taught her to dance even though he knew she was a hopeless case.

This movie made me cry a lot! Really beautiful! Not only the dance moves but the story as well was mesmerizing!

Sometimes, you think that waiting for the man you love is better then looking for him. Like fireflies, once the lover won't arrive, the firefly's light will fade away and they will die.

Dancing doesn't only require talent and skills. It also requires trust, emotions and of course determination in learning. Even though a person doesn't have any hope to learn new things, if that person is willing to learn and of course, trusts her teacher, she will be able to learn no matter what and even circumstances change, a person still shouldn't forget about what the other has done to her.

This is now my new favorite movie! =]
