Disaster after Disaster

I guess this should already be a wake-up call for all of the people in the world.

Whether it’s human violence, a massacre, or a natural disasters, we all know that everything is man’s doing.

We do not believe what we see in movies about the world ending or a part of the earth gets deleted, but it wouldn’t be too impossible anymore if people will continue to abuse not only the environment, but also their powers.

Most of us believe that the reason we exist is for each of us to become powerful, rich, successful, and always above others. We neglect to see the real purpose why we are here. WE ARE GOD’s REPRESENTATIVE ON EARTH.

God created us in his own image and likeness and created a world where we can live in because He knows we deserved it. But then, does our world deserve to be polluted, abused, and manipulated? Shouldn’t we do what we are supposed to do and take care of the earth, as well as the people who live in it?

What happened in Libya shouldn’t have happened if Ghadaffi hasn’t abused his power as the leader of the country. Kids would have still gone to school, and adults would have still continued to go to work and earn a living. But children and adults died in a massacre no one could ever imagine would happen.

What happened in New Zealand and Japan is indeed an unpredictable natural disaster. But people still can do something to save lives, and prevent casualties during the calamity. Many people have lost hope looking for their families, not even knowing if they are still alive or not. Many victims have lost hope of being rescued, and many rescuers have lost hope of finding what they wanted to find.

But if we only put the cliche line “WORLD PEACE” at heart, then maybe we could help in minimizing the disasters that killed a lot of innocent lives and destroyed a lot of hopes for the future.

Think again. This is the time we each do our part. :)
