Mirrors - Kiefer Sutherland & Paula Patton

SYNOPSIS:

It'€™s been nearly a year since volatile detective Ben Carson was suspended from the NYPD for fatally shooting another undercover officer, an accident that not only cost him his job, but fueled the alcoholism and anger that has alienated his wife and kids and left him crashing on his sister'€™s couch in Queens.

Desperate to pull his life together, Carson takes a job as a night watchman at the burned-out ruins of the Mayflower department store, which was destroyed by a massive fire that devoured numerous innocent lives.

REVIEW:

It's been a while since I've watched a horror movie and fortunately, I wasn't disappointed with this 20th Century Fox movie, Mirrors. It was a great risk watching this movie, I admit because I've often encountered bad horror movies lately that it was already hard for mew to trust new releases.

But Mirrors was something that really satisfied me. The movie doesn't leave anyone puzzled, but scared and worried about what may happen next.

Sutherland also did a very great job in portraying his role from an alcoholic to a deranged victim who had to convince those whom he love to believe him that Mirrors are doing something evil.

This was indeed a scary movie. There were scenes when you scream, be terrified and amazed. I think the most significant part of this movie was Ben and Amy's son, Michael who has been possessed by what resided in the mirror beyond what his parents could imagine.
