Just got home and I’m tired. Hindi na ako makakahabol sa gala ng barkada. Hindi ko na kaya. So sorry, guys! :(
I’ll see you next week na lang. Promise, I’ll make time for you. :D
Pwede wag yung biglaan mag aaya? hahaha! Kase most of the time, may plans ako with other people ahead eh. Kaya pag biglaan, hindi ko na napapagsabay.
Love you guise! :D

So, I tried this thing from www.star-wands.co.uk...
Lady Felula The Forgetful. It could have sounded normal to me, but the Forgetful suffix caught my attention. I laughed hard when I saw this result beause this is just soooo me. I'm so forgetful my friends often say I have Anterograde Amnesia. :))
And then at the back of my mind, I thought of a name to try on this thing, too. Joie's name. I don't know, I just sort of thought of her because I know how much she loves Harry Potter. :D
Violet Le Veela. That's what she got and if I can recall completely, she loves the Veela. :D
Coincidence? :D
In the first place, I was like, “Why is it titled Clash of the Titans, when I don’t see Titans fighting, or something like that?” We all know that this movie is about the demigod Perseus.
It’s really weird how they titled the movie as such. It wasn’t a really good movie, either, the effects are just awesome. Maybe if I watched it on 3D, I wouldn’t mind the story. hahaha!
There are a lot of inconsistencies in the movie. For once, in the myths, Queen Cassiopea boasted about herself, and not about her daughter, Andromeda. It was the Nereids whom she offended and not Zeus.
Then, Perseus killed Medusa because he was told by Polydectes to do so. He didn’t know he had to use the head for future purposes.
Also, the monster that Poseidon sent in retribution to Queen Cassiopea’s arrogance wasn’t a Kraken, but another sea monster called Cetus. Rumors said that Perseus might have killed the monster using a sickle, or by turning it to stone using Medusa’s head.
Well, either way, I really liked the battle scenes and such. Plus, Perseus’s guardian Io was really pretty. And I love the Fates. hahaha! They were funny although they looked scarier than what I used to think about how they looked like. :D

hahahaha! I found a way to mash up the two titles. Wasn't really hard though. hehehe. :D
Watched this just now. And it's so cool that I found an original poster of it on Google. Most that I found were the new ones. :D This is like, so old. It was shown on 1959 and you can see it in the animation and maybe the story. hehehe. :D
I watched this last night. In my opinion, of all the Disney Princesses, Belle is the most beautiful and the Beast in Prince form is the most handsome. hehehe. So yeah, there's one scene in here that I totally couldn't remember I've seen before. It's the part where the castle stuff sang while cleaning the castle. Before the romantic dinner of Belle and the Beast. hehehe. I dunno. I really think that scene was cut before. :D
I remembered during the elctions when a lot of people have been spreading out in the internet that ONLY THE YOUTH NOWADAYS HAVE COMMON SENSE.As I’ve seen a lot of issues here in Tumblr, I realized that what the youth claims can’t be true.
Take the Mariah Carey controversy for example. I’ve seen a picture circulatin gon Tumblr and people reblogging it and saying mean stuff about Mariah. As I’ve read the issue regarding Mariah’s racist remarks to the Filipinos, I was like, “Did she really say that?”
So I went to Youtube and Google and searched for any news, videos or evidence that Mariah really made those remarks. No result came out.
I’ve just read in some articles that Donita Rose denied she interviewed Mariah and that Mariah said Regine is a brown monkey who can sing.
See, I’ve come through loads of articles saying that rumors regarding that matter isn’t true. And even rumors regarding Mariah’s racist remark during her concert when she told Filipino to go out.
Is that the common sense youth is saying they have? Judging based on rumors? And all their insults on Mariah were also unreasonable.
That’s only an example. I’ve been seeing a lot of posts by youths here on Tumblr which highly reciprocates what they claim about having common sense.
Or maybe since they are still young and inexperienced enough, they don’t really know the meaning of COMMON SENSE, eh? :D

I watched The Little Mermaid last night, because I suddenly had Regression. :))
This is supposedly before the Little Mermaid movie. It is a story about how Ariel came to be, even before she wished to become human. :D
Then, this! You weren't a child if you haven't seen this. I actually can't remember where my mum and I watched this, but I can definitely remember we did. Good to reminisce my childhood. :D
This one I'm going to watch later. :D I remember not liking this Part 2, but I'm still gunna watch it now. :D
And on a side note: Ariel looks like Tricia Santos here. Maybe because of the lips. :D
But srsly, guys! Why make a big deal about it? Hayley is already 21, like already an adult so she has the right to do whatever she wants. It would have intrigued me if she's only 16, like Miley Cyrus was when she had her scandals.
But she's an adult already! Give it a break. I'm really amazed at how people tend to be really fucked up over nude photos nowadays. Don't you see your own body that you had to feast on others'?
Tina: So here’s what’s gonna happen…My dad, he’s the king of the vampires, and Asian vampires are the most vicious of all the vampires. You’re going to let me wear my lady demon clothes or my dad will fly to your bedroom and bite your face off. He’s really pissed. Is that what you want?
Principal Figgins: No, I don’t want it… I’m afraid
Tina: Good, I’m glad we had this talk, now I have to go back to my coffin because the light is burning my eyes!

Principal Figgings was just sooooo funneh! :))

"Let us find the dam snack bar," Zoe said. "We should eat while we can."
Grover cracked a smile. "The dam snack bar?"
Zoe blinked. "Yes. What is funny?"
"Nothing," Grover said, trying to keep a straight face. "I could use some dam french fries."
Even Thalia smiled at that. "And I need to use the dam restroom."
Maybe it was the fact that we were so tired and strung out emotionally, but I started cracking up, and Thalia and Grover joined in, while Zoe just looked at us. "I do not understand."
"I want to use the dam water fountain," Grover said.
"And…" Thalia tried to catch her breath. "I want to buy a dam T-shirt."
I busted up, and I probably would've kept laughing all day, but then I heard a noise:
"Moooo."
The smile melted off my face. I wondered if the noise was just in my head, but Grover had stopped laughing too. He was looking around, confused. "Did I just hear a cow?"
"A dam cow?" Thalia laughed.

Chapter Fourteen: I Have A Dam Problem
When we got home from Vei Ann’s last night, I couldn’t connect to the internet. I mean the DSL and Wi-Fi are working well, but I couldn’t open any window.
What’s weird was my brother can connect on the internet on my sister’s computer.
It really pissed me off. I was up until 2 in the morning and still, no connection.
I thought it always happens like this because of the brownouts. But then, I realized it has something to do with my laptop or my Wireless since the other computers have their internet working well, while mine doesn’t. :(

So I guess it wouldn’t be something where a guy would be fetching water, or chucking wood. But still, pamamanhikan is a Filipino tradition in which, even in a modern day like this should still be practiced.
So, my brother proposed to his girlfriend last Saturday and to make things formal, our family is going to visit Vei Ann’s family for a pamamanhikantradition.
Everone’s quite busy preparing food and stuff. I guess this is gunna be a good time for both families to truly know each other very well. We’ve been interacting with their family for almost 6 years now, but I guess this time it’ll be different.
So, yeah. Every Filipino tradition has food in it. hahaha! TATAK PINOY, it is. :D
Oooohhhkaayy.. No Jesse St. James in this episode. Oh, that episode switch is sort of annoying. As much as I love to see the Gaga episode like, right now, I still can’t bear the fact that it’s still gunna be another episode where Jesse would be missing. :D
But, yeah. I’m currently downloading it and I guess I’d be able to watch it tonight.
Heroes muna ako now. :D
Well, not really maaga. Around 10am. Pero maaga na yun saken kase tulog pako at that time.
Kaya napilitan akong bumangon kase ang init.
WTF! Kelan pa kaya mawawala ‘tong brownout na ‘to? Nakakainis, nakaka bad trip na! :(
So yoon, naaliw ako sa salt shaking thingy. Totoo talaga. Nakakaloka! :))
Kaya imbes na tumunganga habang naghihintay sa pagbalik ng ilaw, naligo kami sa ulan! hahaha!
Wala lang, ang lameeg. Ang saya. Kaya lang, tumila naman kaagad. hahaha! Parang nabad trip at naligo kame. Ayoon! :))
Buti naman bumalik agad ang ilaw after. hehehe. Ayoon, balik Tumblr. :D

I hope it’s it’ll be exciting towards the end. As far as I’ve been reading now, it’s sort of boring. :D
I mean, it’s really good. The imaginations something that’ll awe me, but the plot is just too dragging, unlike the first two installments. Seems like the author wanted a thicker book.
You get what I’m trying to point out? hahaha! :))
Wednesday-Thursday, May 19-20, 2010 @ Studio Onnie, MTS
It was suddenly Vanessa's birthday! hahaha! :)
Dr. Valdez, Sir Ray, Weng, Vanessa, and I. :D
Endless Love, dedicated to Vanessa on her birthday. :)) The host asked Dr. Valdez what the occasion was, since we were celebrating that night. He was caught off-guard. We actually didn't have any celebration. Then poof! An idea came out. He pointed at our table and said, "It's Vanessa's Birthday today!" hahaha! :))
Caught up by singing the night away. Weng was sort of pissed off because his requested song wasn't played. Srsly, I'm not even familiar with that FACE DOWN song. :D Singing on stage really is embarrassing but once you've get the knack of it, you'll love it all the way. :))
Weng is the Top Student in our batch. He's the only one who got an average if 90 above in our final grades. They call him alien, a guy with a photographic memory, monster.. hahaha! We didn't know each other until recently, when we started going out together. He really wasn't the geek that you'll be expecting. He's just someone whom you can laugh with and joke around with especially when he gets drunk. Maybe he can actually shower me with some of his intelligence. hahaha! :D
Clearly, something's wrong. hahaha! It's already 3:30 in the morning and we stopped by Dimsum Diner for some hot soup. The guys were even looking for a microphone and a Karaoke machine. hahaha! The strict compliance of curfew in Davao spoiled their fun. :D Sleepy head, Sir Ray. And he had to work at 8am. He's an E.R. Nurse at Brokenshire Hospital. :D
Umuulan. Malakas. Maingay.
Kaya pala ang init kanina, super. Pero bakit mainit pa din ngayon? Tsk tsk. Can’t wait for La Nina. Might sound bad, pero at least makakabawi na tayo sa tagtuyot. :D
Migraine attacks. :(

So, I never really took a look about Jonathan Groff’s profile. He’s the dude playing Jesse St. James in Glee. When I checked out his Wikipedia page, I was surprised to read that he’s openly gay and he’s proud of it.
Right, so much for rooting on him and having all my eyes on him whenever he comes out on Glee. hahaha!
Good thing I fell in love with Mark Salling (Noah Puckerman) first. hahaha!I’m all hearts to him now. :D
So, to celebrate my nephew’s 17th, my family with Vei Ann had a full balst dinner at Nanay Bebeng’s, the best restaurant that serves Kare-kare. :D
So since it’s a buffet resto, we didn’t grab small servings. We ate with all our hearts’ out. As if I wasn’t buffed up with my previous Gluttony day last Wednesday. hehehe. :D
So, yeah. It was fun. Dinner was great and the kare-kare was sooo full of love. :D

I am Thalia, daughter of Zeus.
hahaha! Wala lang, naisip ko lang. :))
Soooo sour but sooo good. hehehe. Currently loading my stomach with more acids for a nice stomach ache tomorrow. hahaha! :))
It’s gunna be my nephew’s 17th in an hour. Happy birthday to him! :D
I’ve finished reading the Lightning Thief and I therefore conclude that I liked the movie better. I dunno. Hades looked cooler in the movie and the Underworld was just like how I imagined it, unlike in the book. You know, the boat thingy.
So, yeah. I’m currently reading the Sea of Monsters. hehe. Good thing I know a little about Greek Mythology I needn’t search for them on the internet. Like Circe for example. Or the Sirens. :D
Sometimes…DOTA Helps, too. hahaha! :))
What a blast! Pagdating pa lang dun, nag black out na kaagad. hahaha! So we had to go home since hindi naman uso ang generator sa clinic at alam naming 3 hours ang power interruption.
So yoon. Went back at around 1:30, after watching Shutter Island. hehehe.
I spent the rest of the afternoon entertaining calls, and reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters. I think I’m almost gunna be finished with this. :D
So yeah. Yoon lang. hehehe. Went home after. I can’t wait to get back to school, really. :D

PAT: Doc, ayaw mamigay ni ate Van nung cake na bigay mo
DOC VALDEZ: Ha? Hindi ka nag share?
NEYM: Opo doc. Sabi kasi namin kakainin namin yung cake, sabi niya, “Walang upuan sa bahay!”
hahaha! Joke lang yun, actually. I mean totoo yung sabe ni ate Vanie na walang upuan sa kanila, pero joke lang yung pag interpret namen sa sinabe niya as ayaw niyang mag share nung cake.
Ayoon, napagtulungan siya kagabe and the result…KAKAININ NAMIN YUNG CAKE TODAY! hahaha! :))
May cupcakes pa palang naiwan from Johnny’s Cupcakes kagabe. hehehe. :D
Okay, it was just ok. Wasn’t a really exciting episode, except for the fact thatRachel Berry’s real mum was revealed here and it was sort of unexpected. The reason why Jesse went from Vocal Adrenaline to New Directions.
And yes…The only exciting thing about it was that JESSE ST. JAMES is finally back on this episode! YAY! :D
Japanese and Italian foods for the day.
So I went to school to finalize my enrollment. I met Pat and ate Vanie there and we had lunch together. NAKAKALOKA! We ate at Sankai. It’s a Japanese restaurant sa may Central Bank and sobrang dame ng kinain namen kahit tatlo lang kame. We ordered Futo Maki, California Maki, Katsudon and two of this vegetable thing Pat ordered. Ang lalaki ng servings nila, siyempre. So nagkandarapa kame sa pag ubos. I was thinking at that time na ok na sana sa akin ang Maki, pero wala lang, nag order pa din ako ng Katsudon. Naloka ako!GLUTTONY on LUNCHTIME.
Then after that, we went back to school and met Charlie. We waited for Wengthen went to Brokenshire Hospital to make cotton balls to be used for the Operation Tuli. Medyo matagal-tagal kame dun. Madami kase yung ginawa naming cotton balls.
Tapos nun, we went to Buona Terra to have some Gelato. Kain nanaman. Buti na lang hindi masyadong madami ang servings nila, so I don’t consider it as Gluttony somehow. :D
Then, pumunta naman kame sa Rego’s. It’s a pasta house malapit sa Central Bank. Before pa kame pumasok dun, nakita namen ang Johnny’s Cupcakes sa tapat. So umandar nanaman ang sweet tooth. Ayoon, nag order kame.
Then we ordered Pasta and a dinner meal sa Rego’s. Grabe, super busog. The pasta could have been enough, pero naghanap kami ng rice, kaya yoon. hahaha! Super sarap, in fairness. Ang sarap pa nga mag round 2, kaso sobrang makasalanan na kame if ever. hahaha! :))
Then nag plano pa kameng pumunta sa Cups and Lowercase. It had been our 3rd day in a row sa Cups. We picked up our cupcakes and since masarap siya, nagdagdag pa kame ng half dozen. hahaha! Then we met Dr. Valdez and Sir Rey at Cups.
Buti na lang, wala nang kainan pagdating sa Cups. We just had some beer and usap-usap. But then, Dr. Valdez wanted to sing, kaya pumunta kame ng Studio Onnie sa MTS to sing. ON STAGE! hahaha! Nakakahiya naman. I only had the guts to sing nung kami na lang naiwan, at wala na masyadong tao. hahaha! :D
Went home at 3:30 am. Pagod pero happy. :D
So yoon, that rounded up my day yesterday. It was really memorable and fun. And it was a GLUTTONY DAY! :))
Tuesday, May 18, 2010
So it was originally supposed to be a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, but there were some complications and Dr. Valdez had a hard time working on theGall Bladder, so he decided to do an open cholecystectomy operation. What was supposed to be a 4-small opening incision became a huge one.
And, what was supposed to be a 2-hour procedure went on for 8 hours! :))
So, yeah. I super missed being a nurse. I super missed scrubbing, circulating ang stuff. :D
But it was a really unexpected event. hahaha! I mean I couldn’t believe it’s possible to have a Gall Bladder operation for 8 straight hours. ONE WHOLE SHIFT! hahaha!
Sobrang nanakit ang mga paa, likod at balikat namen. But it was fun though. Dr. Valdez was a fun surgeon. hehehe.
Saludo talaga kami sa kanya. On all of us, he was the only one who didn’t really rest just to finish the operation.
Sabe pa ni ate Vanie, “Kaya pala lalake ang mga surgeon!” hahaha! Because a female surgeon must really be manly to overcome prolonged standing for several hours without water or bladder break.
We started at 10 am and finished at around 6:30 in the evening.
We had some drinks, pizza, and sushi at Cups and Lowercase before we went home.
Dr. Valdez said, “Hindi na ‘to babalik ‘tong mga ‘to sa susunod!” hahaha! But nope, I think I’d still go back. Kahit yun man lang ang maging way for me to reminisce my nursing days. :D
Monday, May 17, 2010
So I went to school early this morning to process my enrollment. Nag fill-up lang kame ng blue form kase lunchtime na.
Doc Valdez invited us to assist him with his Breast Mass Excision at Brokenshire Hospital. hehehe. It was fun. I sort of circulated a little and I realized how much I missed being a nurse. :D
So, yeah. He invited us for another operation tomorrow. Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. I admit, the term is sort of new to me. haha! Never assisted such operation before. Mali pa talaga ang sagot ko kay Mace nung nagtanong siya ano ibig sabihin nun. hahaha!
Oh well, bawi na lang ako bukas. :D
So, yeah. Basa muna ng Percy Jackson then I’ll go on a beauty rest na. :D
