Who would have thought that a wicked witch could actually turn into a pretty damsel in distress just because of love?
This series is one of those typical romantic comedy series but with a twist. This time, the woman was on the rich and arrogant side and the man was on the poor and pathetic side. Together with other obstacles including the father, the girlfriend, the potential man and the ex-boyfriend, a wonderful story was created.
Yoo Hee grew up to always have hatred in her heart. Living under the shadows of her father, she was forced to act like omeone who could never have friends hence she was dubbed as the Witch.
Moo ryong was a happy go lucky man who wished to become a chef and was looking up to Johnny who soon turned out to be his personal cooking instructor.
Joon Ha and Seung Mi on the other hand played the girlfriend and ex-boyfriend of our main characters but Joon Ha was the more evil one. He bound up with Yoo Hee's father to keep her from falling in love with her debtor and love consultant, Chae Moo Ryong.
I've seen a lot of love stories already and yet, I quite have different views with all those stories that I've seen. In Witch Yoo Hee, I can say that love really has the power to change one person. It can either make the person change for the better or for the worse. It can make a person think about others and it can also make one a selfish being.
In this series, we can see how much love has eaten the pride of a seemingly arrogant person and become the one who desperately wanted to cling on with the love that she had. We can also see how someone was willing to let go so as not to hurt the other and how love can integrate greed and can do anything even the worse just to get the love that he wanted.
In conclusion, Witch Yoo Hee isn't only a romantic comedy story. It is also a mirror of life's hardships when love gets on the way. =]
