So, while I was burning some Histology pictures into a CD, I realized that our desktop computer has a DVD writer.

It made me laugh, remembering that I told Cyril that we don’t have a DVD writer. hahaha! :))

So, yeah that’s it. I’m burning pictures for Histology so I could give it to my friends. :D

Do you know that thing when someone really has something good in her mind yet, she wasn't able to deliver it properly?

That’s Stephenie Meyer for me. If you’d think about her Twilight Saga story, it was a really good concept. Vampire boy, falling in love with a human girl…Then having a werewolf boy as a third party…It’s just too good to be made a book.

But the problem was the way Meyer wrote the story. Her conceptualization didn’t materialize very well in her books making it thick, long, and boring to read.

I was just saying…That maybe if some good author wrote that Edward-Bella-Jacob story, it would have been better to read. :D

Cake, Soda and Barbecue. :D

It was Darleen’s birthday today and our other friends bought cake and soda to celebrate with her. She commented that she was the first to celebrate a birthday in the Jurassic Park (the caterpillar-infested park inside our school). :))

Then, we had dinner at Barbecue Boss. Sometimes, it’s really good to just forget everything and spend the night talking about things that don’t involve school. hehehe. :D

Shower...

So last night, I went home pretty late and a little sleepy already so I told myself that I won’t be taking a shower anymore.

But when I got home, mum was like, “I’m sure you’ll love taking a shower tonight.”

And I was like, “Huh?” So I checked out the bathroom and I saw a newly installed shower. hahaha! :))

So our shower and faucet have been broken for quite a while now, so it was really exciting to know that after ages, I will be able to shower again.

Yessss! And our toilet flush is working again! :D

So, I went to the bookstore this afternoon to buy my required books for this year. Fortunately they are all available but unfortunately, they are all so thick, huge, hardbound and fucken’ heavy! :))

Thank goodness I was with my brother. We had 4 huge plastic bags filled with books and other college students who were also buying books were staring at me and one dared to ask, “Yan talaga ang books niyo, te?”

And I was like, “Oo, eto talaga. Kaya wag kang mag Med, ha?” hahaha!!! :))

Oh well, I’m having fun making a personalized nametag for my books. I’ll put lots of pink and Spongebob on it. :D

A whole day encounter...

So, I went to school yesterday morning to attend the second year’s Pathology class. I don’t have General Pathology for this year, the consequence of being an irregular student.

I forgot that my ex-boyfriend also had to retake Gen. Path., and he was there. :)) So I sat in front of him, and I was talking to his classmate like we’ve known each other forever. We smiled at each other, but since we promised not to talk anymore, we were restricted by our own vows.

Worse was that he was paired to my best friend in the laboratory of Gen. Path. hahaha! My best friend and I kept on laughing at the coincidence and he was like blackmailing me with them being friends now. :))

Then last night, during our Med Night, he was there. Since second years were the facilitators for the event, I was busy giving treats to all the other students. I went onto their class, together with the clerks and when Pachie said that we should take a picture, I ran with them and had our picture taken. Funny, he was there all the time, but he left after getting the treat I gave him.

Then after we had some drinks at Marco Polo Hotel, we went to Goodtimes because Paolo, a friend of ours from third year is celebrating his birthday. Then, I didn’t know my ex was also there because they are also friends. :)) When I saw him, he waved at me but I pretended not to look at him. Then I told Charlie, “I need to get out of here!”

Good thing I still managed to have fun despite having his presence around. But Charlie and I weren’t able to stay there for long because we had to catch up with some of our other friends who were partying at a bar. :D

I guess I’ll see a lot of him this year…. :D

Fiesta sa Barrio. :D

So, we had our Med Night last night and although it wasn’t so much glam, it was still successful. However, there were some passive people who didn’t participate and just sulked in the corner watching others. You get that all the time, don’t you?

Then, after the party, Charlie, ate Van and I left and went to Marco Polo. After that, we went to Goodtimes to drop by some greeting to Paolo, for he was having a birthday party.

Then, we hopped again to Metro, a disco bar with some of my classmates. We had a little heart-to-heart talk with Benny and I really didn’t know what to do for I was so caught in the middle between him and ate Vanie. Best thing I did was tell him that they should talk like, seriously about it and I just listened. Listened to everything he said and understand each sentiment he had.

And…I cried, too. :( It’s just that there are times when you really get caught in the middle and you didn’t know what you should do. You can’t side on either because they are both your friends. I just hope they’ll be able to talk about it properly. I’d do the best I can to help. :(

I'm feeling so unlucky today. :(

Something happened and I feel like it’s something that’s meant to happen, but not on my benefit.

I hate this. Why, oh why! There could have been a lot others out there. :| I now have a really bad feeling that this isn’t gunna be a good year for me. :(

Kuya and Vei Ann's Civil Wedding

Ok, today was my brother and his fiancee’s civil wedding. I woke up at around 8am and took a shower because we’re going to the salon to have a fix. :D

We went to Ada and I had my hair rebonded. Really short hair, it is. hehehe. Mum had her hair fixed, too and her face painted.

At around 12 noon, Vei Ann, her sister and her mum arrived. We left because I still had to change into my dress. :D

So we went to the Hall of Justice at around 2 pm. When we entered Branch 9, there were already a lot of people. Whoa! There were 3 couples to be wed together with Kuya and Vei Ann, and I was like, “What the heck! I thought it’s gunna be private?”

So my sister started to complain and asked the Judge’s secretary if he can do the ceremony for Kuya and Vei Ann privately. Luckily, she agreed. So instead of 2pm, the wedding took place at 3 in the afternoon.

At least it’s private and Kuya and Vei Ann are the only ones who had to attend. :D

After the ceremony, we went to Villa Margarita for the reception. We only had at least 30 guests, since this wedding is really private and sort of secret. :D

We just had a late lunch and early dinner. Talked, took pictures, then we went home.

It was really simple. They are planning to have a grand Church wedding probably after they have saved enough. :D

Won't be in school tomorrow. :D

Yeah, on the second day of class. hahaha! Oh well, I had to. It’s some important family matter and I really had to skip school to attend it.

Well, I’m sure it won’t be much tomorrow though. Orientation week pa naman siguro. :D

First day-stress day. :D

First day pa lang, stressed na ako. Baket? Kase first time kong maging irregular student, at nakakaloka pala siya!

Naloka ako sa schedule. hahaha! But I guess I’ll be able to fix it by this week. I still had to talk to my other classmate for some options.

It was a typical first day. Orientation, a little hi-hello then we got dismissed. hehehe.

Power went out at around 2 in the afternoon and it wasn’t just like an oven…IT WAS LIKE HELL! :))

Another Hell Year officially starts tomorrow.

Yes, I’m talking about school. Another 5 months of non-stop reading and trying to fight sleep.

Another 5 months of sleepless nights sacrificed life.

Haaaayyyy…5 months of torture nanaman. Swerte ko, wala pa akong super major subjects. Good luck naman sa back subject ko. hahaha! :))

So, yeah. Well, I guess it just means that life goes on and we had to deal with it, fucking bad. :D

Bitin na araw sa Isla Reta.

Mga 5 hours lang yata kami nandun, grabe! hehehe. Beach resorts like Isla Reta which is located at the back of Samal Island is only intended for an overnight. We only had a day tour and so it was really short. First trip of the boat is 9am and the last trip is at 3pm. It’s almost an hour ride from Davao to Talikud Island.

But nonetheless, it was fun. I didn’t go swim because my body is aching all over. But I guess just bonding with friends and relaxing before a torturing school year is more than you could imagine. :D

Wow! 3 days ang gala. Hindi nga lang consecutive. Friday, I just went to school to help with the props for Med Night. hahaha! So maybe it’s more like, 2 consecutive days. Even if I’m so tired tonight, I’ll still go to the beach tomorrow.

My arms are killing me. Eunice is right, it’s so hard to pull up my pants. hahaha! I’ll get over this. And when it happens, I’ll definitely go back to Deca Wake and well, try to perfect it. :D

Wala pang wakeboarding yan…Knee boarding pa lang nga na halos hindi ko pa naikot nang bongga, sumakit na ang braso ko. Buti na lang, hindi ko pa sinubukan ngayon ang wakeboard talaga, siguro hindi na ako makakabangin bukas. :))

Speaking, I had to wake up really early later kase may Isla Reta trip pa kame with friends. Yes, final gala before the start of classes. hehehe. :D

A day in Paradise. :D

So, Pat, ate Vanie, Earl, Charlie, Razy, Ben and I went to Paradise Island Resort for a little unwinding before classes start on Monday.

Everything was really unplanned but I glad it all went well for the day.

We had soooo much fun catching fishes in the sea and watching them devour each other. hahaha! But then, we put them back in the water; sadly, after some of them had already died. :))

So, yeah. after than, we went to Pat's house to have dinner and work on our trash bins. We did some painting job and it was really fun. I didn't know painting with rollers could be really awesome! hehehe. :D

And yeah, miraculously, we were still able to finish at around 10:30 in the evening and I got home by 11pm. Soooo early, but really fun! :D

Wow! It was so unexpected! :D

First off, I was hurrying to go to school because I thought I’d be late. I took a taxi and arrived at around 7am. And guess what? The program started at 8am! hahaha!

But it’s ok. Better early than late and will get some attention.

So I also had this similar program before, The “OK Ka Doc!” program for incoming First Year Medical students. I remembered falling asleep in some of the sessions.

But this one today was really different. It’s something that I could say have kept me awake for the whole day even though I was sooooo sleepy. The activities, the speakers, and even the ice breakers were so fun and I really couldn’t imagine that I would enjoy something like this.

I loved Dra. Palabyab so much! She’s a lot like her husband who lectured on us in Anatomy. Fun, perky, and definitely not boring. Now I already have my OB-Gyne. :D

So, yeah. It was a 9-hour program, but it didn’t stress me out. :D Sure I felt really tired after, but then, I knew all the sleep I was able to miss for this day is worth it. :)

We had dinner at Cups and Lowercase and yessss…We’ll hit the beach tomorrow! Oh yeah! :))

Oh, well. Maybe it might still be helpful. Might make the irresponsible responsible. Philippine Youth nowadays are a hundred times more agressive than before, but I think a little stir in the mind can make them reasonable once again. :D

Tomorrow! Yay! It’s like some sort of orientation preparing second year medical students.

I’m happy? Oh, my gosh! I’m happy? Yessss! I’ll be seeing my classmates again whom I’ve haven’t seen for the past couple of months. :D

Well, not everyone though. Psshh…But most of them, yeah. Some of my close friends have been going out with me all throughout summer, but then, it’s gunna be one heck of a reunion!

Hope our Maxima trip will pursue on Thursday. :D
