college of medicine...

so i was doing my own thing yesterday when my aunt from the states called. i was the one who answered the phone so we talked. she asked me about my recent plans since i dontt have work yet at this time, so i told her that i might try working in a call center for a while, just to save up some money.

then she just suddenly asked, "do you like to proceed to medicine?" and i was like =

of course i do, but i don't. haha!! you know what i mean? i do because it was my lifelong dream to become a doctor. since i was a kid, i so wanted it. but i don't because i think it won't be very easy having to go back to school once again when you've already been a professional once in your life.

so i went to Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF), to inquire about the course, and i was a little surprised that i had to talk directly to the dean of the college of medicine. i found out why.

it was because i still had to take this NATIONAL MEDICINE ADMISSIONS TEST (NMAT) and pass the it, before i would be able to go and enroll for the course in any medical school.

problem is, for me to be able to start my course this june, i have to take the test in manila on april...and the more problem is...the final registration for the NMAT on april was last february 27th. jeez, i was a little too late.

but the dean told me that i might be able to convince the office for NMAT that i could just follow up on the registration so i would be able to take the test this april. so tomorrow, i'm going to the office, and who knows what miracle might happen.

it is a very sudden decision but after a lot of thinking last night and this morning, i've finally decided that i will give it a try.
