Kim Ok Bin - Park Yeon Eong
Seo Ji Hye - Kang Sun Min
Is it possible to have a ghost with a Double Identity Disorder?
Well this fourth installment of Korea's Whispering Corridors will show you one.
Voice is a story about a student named Park Yeon Eong who was killed while practicing for her song piece. Having a lot of questions in mind on how she died, her spirit stayed inside the school and luckily, her bestfriend, Kang Sun Min canhear her voice although she can't see her.
Following Yeon Eong's voice, Sun Min stayed in the school every night and found another tragic sight. Their Music Teacher, hanging on the ceiling of the music room. Thinking that the teacher has something to do with her bestfriend's death, Sun Min tried her best to uncover the truth that lied beneath the death and her bestfriend.
But bizarre things started to happen as Sun Min befriended the school's so called freak. Yeon Eong started to realize who she really was and what really caused her death as well as the others.
She started losing her voice as Sun Min tried to forget her, paying attention to Cho Ah, the freak girl. She later on realized that she has caused the death of her music teacher through her second personality as a revenge for the death of her teacher's favorite student before who happened to have the same voice as Yeon Eong.
Jin Hyu killed Yeon Eong because of jealousy and Yeon Eong killed the teacher in revenge. The weird thing was Yeong Eong did all of it all along without even knowing it.
This movie was just like one of those unexpected Korean horror movies. You never jnew what really happened or what will happen unless you sit it out all throughout the showing.
This series shows the love of a friend towards another that not even death can separate. Jealousy over another person can indeed be fatal and if revenge shall be paid, it could be deadly.
This movie has a good story plot although the screenplay was quite disappointing because it wasn't even scary at all.
Three stars for this movie! =)
