So, from March 30 - April 1, 2011, my friends and I were on the road traveling from Davao to Tagum then to Compostella Valley. :)
Lazy-ing the day with Pat, Charlie, and Jeb. :)
Bird-watching at ECO-Park in Tagum. Saw a really freaky-looking bird. But it was very beautiful. Sort of a cross from an ostrich and a peacock. :)
Soon to be the biggest and most expensive City Hall in all of Mindanao. Next to the biggest Church, of course. :)
Funny thing about the City Hall is that it looks like the entrance to the original NAIA. So what else should we do? TAKE A JUMP SHOT, of course! :))
Feel like doing some pole dancing in public? Then this is the best place, as long as the poles don’t have flags on them yet. :))
It’s just ironic that on this really hot weather, my friends and I decided to try theHot Spring in Compostella Valley. And it’s real Japanese, I say. :)
And then there’s the cold/hot tub that I was talking about. Problem was, the cold water running to it flowed more than the hot. So, why call it a HOT SPRING for that service? lol! :))
I guess this is the only best part in this resort. The Hot Steam Bath. hahaha!! The part where you don’t know whether you’re wet, or you’re excessively sweating. :)
Now this resort actually has private pools you can rent for around 1000-2000 pesos. Each private pool is named after a big city in Japan…For the tsunami purposes, we had a picture at Sendai. :)
Of course we needed a place to stay, and best place to stay was in theOccena Farmville. Yeah, it was named after the infamous Facebook game. :)
Hot is never hot without getting cold. So on our third day, we went to theBamboo Garden where it overflows with extra cold water. Care to freeze? :))
Pat’s dream family photoshoot. Too bad Sephora and Jody weren’t around to join us in this very fun event. But, there you are. The family, all smiles. :)
So, on our way back to Tagum, we saw a vast field with nice view. We couldn’t help but stop over and for a moment feel like we own the place. We briefly called it, “The Hacienda AceTeryahe” :))
What better picture can we take in a beautiful place like this but a pretty nice jump shot. :)
We had a lot of outtakes for this one, because the road was a little narrow for us to line up and not cover each other’s faces when we jump. We were never successful though. :))
Because someday, we’re gonna own something like this. :)
A courtesy photo-session with Ben’s family who never got tired of entertaining us whenever we visit their home. :)

I’m actually sort of used to multi-tasking a lot since I was in college but lately, I find myself often preoccupied with a lot of things.
I’m having a hard time keeping track of the time, date, and things that I was supposed to do these days. I don’t know. I’ve already taken a step to deal with this problem, and if this won’t work, I don’t know what will.
This thing really gets me distracted all the time that I tend to forget what was important for me to do. I don’t know if I’m losing my mind or if I just need a stronger distraction.
Shrink said it’s someone to talk to. Friends to go out with…But it’s summer, and we won’t be seeing each other for a little while, so I decided to get on with this therapy. :)

Why did they have to kill that horse? It's depressing!! :(
Right, so I sort of screamed at that part where Rick and the horse rounded a corner and met a street-ful of "Walkers". lol! He looked stupid right there. :))
But still, the horse didn't have to die!! :(
Because this is also my last day on Levofloxacin. No more upset stomach and abdominal cramps.
So, I’m back to my usual low-food diet. hahahaha! :))

So Pat’s mum treated us at Dencio’s for dinner. It was too much for us to handle and I’m a bit glad that I couldn’t cut down on my meals for this week because I’m taking Levofloxacin. :))
So yeah…SPICY HOT is SPICY HOT. :)) Wala nag tell si Dencio nga hastang halanga diay sa ilang manok. :))

So, I stayed at Teban’s apartment with Charlie, Benny, and Bai last night to work a little overtime for our school publication. That was after I went to school for make-up classes and went to Image World afterwards.
So I was actually supposed to go home, but I didn’t realize it was already around 12 midnight, so I just decided to stay.
I woke up at around 9 in the morning, and we went on with working for the rest of the paper. Axel came and he worked for the lay-out while the rest of us shared ideas and suggestions on how to fit some really short articles in the huge size of the Tabloid.
I’ve haven’t showered because staying overnight at Teban’s was sort of unplanned so I had to wait ‘til I get home.
I didn’t even rest when I arrived. I immediately slipped out of my clothes and headed to the shower.
The feel of the water on me was like heaven. Felt like it was the best shower I’ve ever had. :))

I guess this should already be a wake-up call for all of the people in the world.
Whether it’s human violence, a massacre, or a natural disasters, we all know that everything is man’s doing.
We do not believe what we see in movies about the world ending or a part of the earth gets deleted, but it wouldn’t be too impossible anymore if people will continue to abuse not only the environment, but also their powers.
Most of us believe that the reason we exist is for each of us to become powerful, rich, successful, and always above others. We neglect to see the real purpose why we are here. WE ARE GOD’s REPRESENTATIVE ON EARTH.
God created us in his own image and likeness and created a world where we can live in because He knows we deserved it. But then, does our world deserve to be polluted, abused, and manipulated? Shouldn’t we do what we are supposed to do and take care of the earth, as well as the people who live in it?
What happened in Libya shouldn’t have happened if Ghadaffi hasn’t abused his power as the leader of the country. Kids would have still gone to school, and adults would have still continued to go to work and earn a living. But children and adults died in a massacre no one could ever imagine would happen.
What happened in New Zealand and Japan is indeed an unpredictable natural disaster. But people still can do something to save lives, and prevent casualties during the calamity. Many people have lost hope looking for their families, not even knowing if they are still alive or not. Many victims have lost hope of being rescued, and many rescuers have lost hope of finding what they wanted to find.
But if we only put the cliche line “WORLD PEACE” at heart, then maybe we could help in minimizing the disasters that killed a lot of innocent lives and destroyed a lot of hopes for the future.
Think again. This is the time we each do our part. :)
But I can’t actually tell him every core reason why I’m like this, because it’s just not his place to actually hear my emotional rants.
I want to talk to him in a manner that we both understand. And being his friend for a while makes me believe that EMO is not something we understand together.
Bottomline is, I never want to talk about sad things with him, because it’s just not the kind of thing I’d expect him to talk to me about.
I don’t want us to get really serious when we talk because I just can’t stay serious when it’s him I am talking to.
I want to tell him everything I told my other friends about, but I can’t. I can’t because I know he wouldn’t react the same way my other friends did. And I can’t because I know he’ll just wave his hand and tell me, “That’s nothing. Forget it, it isn’t worth it.”
And then the laughter will start again….
I’m sort of having that dilemma at the moment. :(

I don’t know what I’ll feel if I go there at this point. The last time I was there, my friend almost killed me because she said I was so “maarte”. hahaha! :)
I wasn’t. I just wasn’t used to going to public wet markets because we usually shop at Supermarkets. :)

Which is already kind of weird considering the fact that it doesn’t happen to me anymore for the last few weeks. :)
