Death Note Movie

This movie is based on a Japanese manga written by Tsugumi Ohba about an ordinary genius kid who wanted to become God after possessing a Death Note which was dropped by a Shinigami (Death God). Wanting to eliminate the criminals in the whole world, Yagami Raito (Light) used the Death Note aggresively, killing a lot of convicted and accused criminals gaining himself the name "Kira" by the police officers who were hunting him.

Aside from the police officers, the cooperation of the world's greatest detective also went out and risking everything, showed himself to Raito whom he was already suspecting to be Kira. Being very odd, L could even hind his intelligence by showing all those strange behavior that he does when in fact, competing against Raito on who will win first.

I've seen the anime and read the manga of this story although I haven't finished them yet. Being very excited to see the movie, I didn't mind the spoiler that it may bring by the end.

Indeed, I was glad that I decided to actually watch the two parts of the movie because it was only my second time to be amazed at how the plot was so much twisted to end in a better way. It wasn't much like how the manga turned out to be although I know it still has the same kind of ending.

In conclusion, all I can say was that even though L outwitted Raito and was able to defeat him, I was still amazed by how intelligent Raito was that all his plans turned out well even after loosing his memory by discarding the Death Note.

Indeed, Justice shall really prevail and for Raito and L who won't accept defeat, only death would be able to make them happy. =]

Tansformers Movie

Since I was a kid, I've been hooking a lot for the Transformers animated series. It indeed took years before it has been made into a realistic movie but I think that maybe if it was made before, it wouldn't have this much of an impact probably due to bad technology.

So I admit even though I've waited too long, it was indeed a worthy wait because the Transformers movie has definitely been on the rocks!

I've liked Megatron so much even from the cartoons even though I knew he was the leader of Decepticons which is the group that betrayed Cybertron's Autobots. But the movie made me thought otherwise.

-sighs- Megatron didn't have much of an exposure in the movie, I wondered why. I mean he only went out during the last minutes when he was already supposed to fight Optimus Prime.

So I admit...my eyes vented towards the cutest Autobot, Bumblebee and indeed, he proved the viewers that he wasn't just any rundown Chevvy Camaro but he indeed was an awesome chick-magnet and loyal fighter.

I can't say much about this movie since it has only shown the common stuff about fighting to save the world from evil forces but what amazed me in this movie was the way they made the robots blend so much in the human world that in a split second, I would believe that Autobots really do exist. =]
